A user faces QuickBooks error 6190 while modifying the company file in QuickBooks Desktop. An error message shows up on the desktop screen displaying, “QuickBooks has encountered a problem and needs to close.” Generally, it arises when the Windows components necessary to run QuickBooks Desktop are corrupted. To debug this error safely, you can go through the below-mentioned instructions:
 Shut off QuickBooks Desktop at first.
 Get QuickBooks Tool Hub of the present-day release (1.5.0.0) from Intuit’s site.
 Save the QuickBooksToolHub.exe file (the downloaded installer) on your Windows Desktop.
 Click twice the QuickBooksToolHub.exe file.
 Carry on in accordance with on-screen directions and then accept the user’s agreement to install QuickBooks Tool Hub.
 Click right the icon of QuickBooks Tool Hub and then select Open.
 In the left pane, choose the Installation Issues tab.
 Find the QuickBooks Install Diagnostic Tool option and select it.
 Let the tool run (It can take up to 15-20 minutes, so wait until it is over).
 Thenceforth, restart your computer.
