How will the QuickBooks Installation Errors reflect on your screen?
The Installation errors are caused when you are looking to install/ update the QuickBooks accounting software. These errors are categorized as ‘Run-Time’ errors and occur when you are trying to ‘Run’ any software in the system. The QuickBooks Error 1603 is co-related to other QuickBooks Errors 1601 and 1642. You will see the below-given messages when you get disrupted because of Installation Errors.

Error 1601 – ‘Cannot access the Windows Installer.’

Error 1603 – ‘Fatal Error occurred during Installation’.

Error 1642 – ‘Could not install Microsoft .NET Framework when installing QuickBooks.’

The reason behind these QuickBooks Errors:
The ‘Windows’ are affected by a virus.
Faulty QuickBooks downloaded the file.
The Microsoft Windows Installer is corrupted.
There is no permission to install the QuickBooks Software or the Windows Operating System.
All files are locked
There is a ‘malware’ affecting the programs.
QuickBooks Error Codes 1601, 1603 & 1642- Solutions
Now its time to understand how to deal with these ‘Installation Errors’ and rectify them in the shortest possible period.

Solution1 –Download the ‘QBInstallTool.exe.’ files and Run it.

Firstly, download the QBInstallTool.exe file with ‘648 KB’ file size in the system. Now apply and save the changes to your file and then save it on your Desktop. Now double-click the given file and ‘RUN’ the tool. This solution should correct the Installation error, however, if the problem is still there then try the next solution.

 Solution2- Repair the ‘MSXML 4.0’
The first thing is to select the ‘installation’ you want to do. If it is a ‘CD,’ then select ‘CD Installation’ for the QuickBooks Accounting Software.
Now it’s time to insert the ‘CD’ in your system. Press ‘Alt+F4’ keys to shut down the installation window when it appears/ open on the desktop screen.
Follow the instructions for the ‘Installation of MSXML 4.0’.
For ‘Windows 7 and Vista’:
Press the ‘start’ key.
Put ‘msiexec.exe/fvaum ‘D:\ QBOOKS\ msxml.msi’ in the given field.
Note: If your ‘CD drive’ is not the same then you replace it by putting ‘D.’

For ‘Windows XP’:

Click by choosing the ‘start’ key option.
Put ‘msiexec.exe/fvaum ‘D:\QBOOKS\msxml.msi’ on the empty screen and open that field by pressing OK.
