I am getting QuickBooks error H505 again and again. Please help me with a permanent solution.

Inappropriate hosting setup is the leading cause of this H series error. To fix this, turn off Host Multi-User Access on the workstation as the host computer should be the only one hosting the file. To do this:

1. Go to the workstation where you get error H505 and start QuickBooks Desktop.
2. Go to the File menu, choose Utilities and select the Stop Hosting Multi-User Access option.
3. Move to other workstations and follow the same process.
4. If you see the Host Multi-User Access option on any workstation, don’t select it. There is no issue with it.
5. Go to the server computer, open QuickBooks, and select the File menu.
6. Choose Utilities and select the Host Multi-User Access option.
